What we collect, and why

This policy describes how BuzzSwipe collects, uses, and stores information when you visit buzzswipe.co. It covers the public website only - our mobile app will have its own privacy details when it launches.

We collect as little data as possible. We do not sell your personal information, nor do we build marketing profiles.

Joining the Waitlist

What we ask for: Only your email address and your agreement to this policy. We don't ask for a name, phone number, or password, and signing up does not create an account.

Verification: After you sign up, we will send you a confirmation email. We treat your email address as unverified until you click that link. If you didn't mean to join, simply ignore the email.

Updates: We store your email when you submit the form. We only send launch updates after you confirm. If you do not confirm within 48 hours, we delete the unverified address.

Services & Security

Third-Party Services: We use Resend (sent from buzzswipe.co) to deliver confirmation emails, and Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam.

Abuse Prevention: We temporarily check IP addresses strictly to prevent misuse and rate-limit spam.

Data Access: Waitlist records are stored in our database. Only our backend can read them. The public site cannot.

Cookies & Local Storage

No Ad Tracking: We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this site.

Stored on Your Device: We may save your preferred theme (light or dark) in your browser. This data stays on your device.

Contact & Deletion

To ask a question or request that we delete your email from our waitlist, please reach out via our Contact page.
